Whether or not it gets covered will depend on how the press sees the election going. Something may not really pop on this till after the next debate because if he stumbles again as badly as he did last week, all bets are off simply because while the press wants him to win, they do not want to be seen entirely on the side of the guy who lost...they lose all credibility if that happens.

Along the way recently, there have been some cracks in the dam. Unless ocommie can plug them, and he will get a full press treatment by the next moderator to do so, he will be toast. Not only will he lose, but if he loses 50% of his media support, he will lose as badly as did mclame. Romney better be on his A+ skill next one because if he wins, the election will be his to lose. He would have to have an epic fail in the third one to lose if he wins the next debate on usually the home court, foreign policy, of a sitting president.

“Romney better be on his A+ skill next one...”

I’ve been saying the same thing too. I’m sure Obama has been verbally butt-reamed by David Axelrod, Michelle Obama and just about every member of the press corps for his poor performance.

Obama will come out on the offensive. He’ll try to hit Romney over issues like the “47%” comment, Bain Capital, etc. Prior to that, the media will do their part by trying to soften up Romney by reporting stories about so-called “dissension” in the Romney campaign or how Romney’s economic plan really doesn’t add up, etc. etc.

Romney had better be ready for the next debate because he’s gonna have everything but the kitchen sink thrown at him.
