I just sent him $10. I plan to send him at least 10 more before 10/20. He’s up against some desperate Donkey big bucks down there. The race is still a toss up. Recent polls have shown Allen behind but he should gain and win it by a nose. Why? Romney will win Virginia going away. Romney’s coattails will sweep Allen to victory. Lots of conservatives and others who normally vote GOP did not vote in ‘08. They are going to show up BIG TIME this year to send the Kenyan back to his Chicago Thugville digs or better yet to Kenya. While they are in the booth, or at home filling out their absentee ballot, they are going to select Allen, too. If there is anything you and your family can do to help, do it.

When is the last day to request absentee ballots? Is it right up through election day?

490,000 votes have been removed from the voter rolls in the state so far. I say so far, because when that figure came out, it did not include all of the voters like my spouse and I who where about to mail back our "cancellation of voter registration forms" from the state of Ohio since we had moved out in 2011.

Those numbers are going to increase. And 44% of that 490K came from Cuyahoga county, City of Cleveland area, which has been voting heavily Democratic for eons....350,000 of the vote loss came from the three big counties which include the three big cities of Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati.

In short, the Republican Sec. of State is cleaning up the voter rolls. He found our names through the United States Postal Service address list.

The website from the Board of Elections says you can ask for an absentee ballot up to 12 - noon on the Saturday before the election and it must be returned by 7:30pm or poll closing on Election Day BUT

Someone made a comment earlier that last Friday was the deadline for the request. Which may be true and makes common sense since they are now early voting in Ohio.

I hope that answers your question....that's about all I can give on it....we moved away in 2011.
