Update 10:50 p.m.: According to the Associated Press, Venezuela’s electoral council has declared that Hugo Chavez beat Henriques Capriles in Sunday’s presidential election with about 54 percent of the vote, despite exit polls showing otherwise.
Venezuela Twitter users have claimed Chavez’s victory was wrought with election fraud, and that the socialist incumbent president sent tanks into the streets of his country as those exit poll reports showed him losing. A picture of the tanks surfaced on Twitter Sunday evening.
The British Guardian newspaper reported that Chavez also sent troops armed with AK-47s into Venezuela’s streets to fight against any protests in case unrest came as a result of the news.

I just remember Budapest but clearly remember Prague. Last night Venezuela lost because the fat, cancerous tumor, the DICTATOR Chavez “won”. Can the opposition prove the vote was “cooked”? It won’t do them any good even if hey can. The fat pig is there until he rots from the inside and is carried out in a box.
This should be a warning shot to all of US! If Obama, Jarrett, Axelrod, Holder and the rest of their thugs can STEAL our Presidential Election THEY WILL! It is up to all of us to see that that does not happen!

Voter fraud in this country will be at epic proportions and will possibly re-elect the turd in much the same manner.
Chavez’ election is modelled after Putin’s in Russia. First intimidate the opposition and potential candidates. Second, use government resources to massively outspend your opponents. Third, use the state controlled media to give non-stop positive coverage to the incumbent while carpet bombing the challenger with viciously negative attacks. Four, intimidate opposition supporters on Election Day while simultaneously bribing undecideds. And if all of that doesn’t work, have the government controlled election commission just make up a number.
I don’t know if Chavez had to resort to the final step but the election was stolen before the first vote was even cast. And the response of the word media - INCLUDING FOXNEWS - silence. They all report the result as a valiant effort by the opposition but that the Venezuelan people really do love the fat Marxist. And yet the western powers claim to support democracy in other lands.
Is anyone surprised? Stalin knew it wasn’t the number of votes that counted, but who counted them.
The thing the most bone chilling thing Bill Ayers said to me was that after the revolution succeeded and the government was overthrown, they believed they would have to eliminate 25 million Americans who would not conform to the new order.
