Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad.
In ancient Greece hubris, the sense of exaggerated pride or self confidence, was considered to be such a deadly sin that artists and sculptors of that era were known to purposely leave small imperfections in their works so as to avoid the wrath of the gods. The latest victim of the mortal sin of hubris seems to be Andrew Sullivan. Just 13 days ago Sullivan was in full gloat mode in his Daily Beast column, Romney's Current 3.6 Percent Chance Of Winning. Today? Well, it's an entirely different story judging from the title of Sullivan's current column, Did Obama Just Throw The Entire Election Away?

A sermon on the sin of hubris might be a good idea...but only AFTER the election.
I think Sullivan wet his pants.
She sure did.
“Tragedy” would be that we did not learn from the hubris of our opponents, and that we fell into the same trap...
But like I said, best to wait until AFTER the election for that sermon.
At InTrade, Obama was at 80% ($80) before the debates and has now fallen to 62% ($62). Converesely, Romney has spiked from 20% to 37%. I think they are behind the curve but the debate was a huge momentum changer.
I expect Ryan to clobber Biden as well.
From Wikipeadia:
Sullivan, in 2003, wrote a Salon article identifying himself as a member of the gay "bear community".[10] On 27 August 2007, Sullivan married his husband Aaron Tone in Provincetown, Massachusetts
Sullivan had a long-expressed desire to become a U.S. citizen, but was barred for many years from applying for citizenship because of his HIV-positive status.
In 2001, it came to light that Sullivan had posted online anonymous advertisements for unprotected anal sex, preferably with "other HIV-positive men".
In August, 2008, Sullivan wrote on his blog about a widespread rumor circulating on the Internet that Palin faked her fifth pregnancy, the baby was actually her daughter's, and that this was motivated by political reasons
Honestly, I've never seen the left in such utter disintegration, as if the fatigue of carrying Barry's water for him for four years has suddenly become so overwhelming a burden that they're suffering some sort of collective emotional and moral collapse.
Of course, four years of defending the indefensible will do that to a person.
The front AND the back....
“On 27 August 2007, Sullivan married his husband Aaron Tone in Provincetown, Massachusetts”
Well, you think he would show Romney a little appreciation at least for that.
