The reason your link acted “hinky” is because the feature that turns a string of characters into a link does not work in the original post. You have to repeat it in a reply. Don’t ask me why. It’s just an anomoly of the FR software.

It’s not you! The first posted thread requires you to write your link in html. If you prefer not to do that, then you just reply in post 2 with the link as a copy/paste and it will hyper link for you. I’m generally lazy and will just reply to my own thread to get the link up.
Sometimes I take the time and actually use html for it to work first time. So, don’t think it’s just you!
