Matthew Kimball walked away from the Boy Scouts in 2005.
Since he was gay, Kimball knew that his sexual orientation would be at odds with the Boy Scouts of Americas policy banning gay Scouts and leaders. Kimball was both: an Eagle Scout and an assistant Scoutmaster.
Kimball had not revealed his sexual orientation during his Scouting years. But he decided, like a number of other gay Scouts, that he could no longer stay publicly quiet about the organizations membership policy after learning that Ryan Andresen, a teen from his own Troop 212 in Moraga, Calif., had been denied the Eagle rank last week because he is gay.
My immediate reaction was frustration with myself, because I felt if I had done what this kid did
he wouldnt have to be going through this, hopefully, said Kimball, referring to Andresens coming out in July to his troop in a letter.

There's a simple solution to this dilemma...two organizations, the BSA and the PSA (Perverted Scouts of America).Perverts won't be tolerated in the BSA,normal kids and Scout leaders won't be tolerated in the PSA.

This is not an issue when compared with the Presidential election and the fate of this Country - the Country that allows homos to walk freely among us. Though plenty of libs and homos would like it to be, I'm sure.
So some sissy boy who didn't reveal his sexual orientation (thus took a lying oath), is upset because another sissy boy can't be an eagle scout because he's not morally straight as defined by the Boy Scouts.
So what? Doesn't he know that plenty of us have bigger fish to fry?

Gee, I guess we should just keep bambi in office then.
Romney seems to support freedom. So do I.
If a homo wants to be a homo, I'm fine with it. If a homo wants to “marry” another homo and can find a **cough** preacher that will do it willingly - I'm fine with it.
In either case, I should not be FORCED to endure it, or condone it.

Yeah, the God from Kolob, Melchizedek Mormon Bishop cult leader, and self proclaimed God is all about letting the homosexuals run rampant.
Put scores of them on the bench in Massachusetts and supports the repeal of DADT.
Wake me up when the blue blood country club banker faction of the Washingtonians bothers to do anything about the homosexual problem.

Well, I guess we could add in the fact that their positions on Abortion are pretty similiar as well.

Then address the number one responsibility of the President and CinC as to the protection and security of our nation regarding our military and foreign relations.

Why in the world would someone want to be in an organization that they know, going in, rejects their lifestyle and they know they cannot, truthfully, live by the group’s code? To destroy it from within (they’d call it changing it for the better)?

The time for negatives was during the selection process, the time for positives is during the election process.
