Maybe all those casino workers will think twice before voting for obama. Because they will be voting themselves out of a job. If obama wins no one will be afford to go to Las Vegas.
I think I’ve seen 2 Obama bumper stickers in about as many years here. It’s nothing like 2008. His comments about Las Vegas had a huge economic impact here. We’re not feeling the love.
Things are very interesting here in Southern Nevada. Though I live in Utah I volunteer down in Vegas for Mitt. Steve Wynn and Sheldon Adelson are both very well respected in this community and by the employees. Their employees seem grateful to work for these guys. Sheldon Adelson treats his employees so well his casinos are non-unionized. I am not sure that the SEIU bus will be loading up employees behind Mr. Wynn’s casino like they did in 2008 and I know it won’t happen behind the Venetian/Palazzo complex. The other thing people do not understand in Vegas is the number of registered voters who have completely moved away or lost their home. At least 25% of the voter rolls are wrong, from what I have seen, knocking doors. That information does not show up in the polls.
