Ryan says he feels 'good' about debate versus Biden

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan says he feels “good” and is “looking forward” to the only VP debate of election, taking place in Kentucky in fewer than 36 hours.

“I am looking forward to giving people a very clear choice,” Ryan told reporters during a quick stop to Old Farmer’s Creamery. “Look, Joe Biden has been on this stage many times, this is my first time so sure it is a nervous situation because Joe Biden is one of the most experienced debaters we’ve had in modern politics. But the Achilles Heel he has is President Obama’s record and I am really looking forward to giving the American people a very clear choice. “

...

Ryan said he was not upset about what his running mate said Tuesday to the Des Moines Register editorial board. Romney told the newspaper “there’s no legislation with regards to abortion that I’m familiar with that would become part of my agenda.”

“Look, no positions have changed, our position is very consistent,” Ryan responded.

The only time I was ever in Massachusetts, was in the 1960s - to visit Mystic seaport. Aside from that and another visit to NJ, I’ve lived in the South all my life. So, yes, it is difficult for me to understand Northerners. Even if I’m married to one...

Plenty to get Biden on.

Ryan better jump at the chance.

Michelle Malkin should have been his coach.

Biden isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

Biden is a vicious gutter fighter and Ryan has displayed an intellectual style when arguing.

Could be a tough night, unless Ryan can toss it back at Biden.

” Aside from that and another visit to NJ, I’ve lived in the South all my life.”

Smart guy.

I don’t know why anyone would live on the east coast, unless
they had to. I jumped a plane 6 hours after my college graduation(1976), and I have never returned.

Ryan must keep the debate about Obama’s record. If he does, he will do fine.

When Biden brings up that they killed Osama, Ryan should bring up the fact that Biden named SEAL Team 6 as the ones who handled the mission - then they were targeted and killed not long afterward.

I’m hoping with Ryan’s math skills he’ll highlight all the non-medical crap in Obamacare, cornhusker’s kickback and la purchase to mention a couple. I’m sure the good people of the US have no idea what’s in that 2,000 page monster and I’ll bet they wouldn’t be too thrilled about those taxpayer-funded votes.

Thanks for the info. So do I understand that Seal Team 6 was involved in the (righteous) capture and killing of Osama bin Laden and in the ill-fated defense of the American ambassador and his post in Libya?

Not in defending the Embassy in Libya, those were former Navy SEALs working for a private contractor.

“Michelle Malkin should have been his coach.” Just what do you think is wrong with Ted Olson? He has won more Supreme
Court cases than most lawyers alive, including Gore v Bush, and he was Ronald Reagan's lawyer.

You missed my point. The “Three Bloviating Idiots” I referenced were Biden, Hillary & Obama.
