That's the only issue Obama has to run on. A welfare receiving yellow bird.

It is pretty crazy and desperate when the President is using Big Bird to get attention. The President wants millionaires and billionaires to pay for Big Bird?

How ‘bout in November we take the White House and give Barry the bird? (He can have Elmo too.)

Compounding the Democrats' gravitas gap, Joe Biden has to debate Paul Ryan on Thursday. Democrats are sending to the mound a man whose chief virtue is his goofy charm, while Republicans have their budget-policy ace throwing for them.
I'd like to buy into this, but I'm not going to. Biden is a very good debater. He cheats and misrepresents, but that's beside the point. He'll get backed up by the media, and he'll debate with charm while talking about old Joe at the barbershop or Mary Louise at the bakery.
Ryan needs to be prepared.

We need to be careful beating up on Obama. His decisions as to how to fight back are horrible. If his advisers are telling him to use the Big bird stuff etc. Then great let him go with it.

"After all, Washington gives the Corporation for Public Broadcasting only about $450 million a year, with about $15 million ultimately going to PBS.?"Which is $450 million/$15 million too much.
The Government cannot be allowed to support television, radio or any other media. Look what that's gotten us: he who has the gold rules.
The Kenyan must go.

Since Obama is willing to do the heavy lifting of protecting Big Bird, the least that we, the voters, can do is GIVE OBAMA THE BIRD, early and often.

Team Obama objected that moderator Jim Lehrer let the candidates respond to one another too much and drill too deep on topics. The telling moment was Obama's plea: "Jim, you may want to move on to another topic." Obama suffered because the debate got too freewheeling and substantive. When Obama tells the New York Times boys to 'move on' they have the courtesy to ask 'how fast, Master?'.
Lehrer lacks the proper knee pad mentality...old school and all...
And the ABC moderator? She won't have to be asked - if it's getting rough for her BFF Obama she'll 'move on' all my herself. Nope, she won't have to be asked. Nice that the commission chose all liberals for the moderators... I'm sure if they chose four conservatives we'd hear crickets too..
