Investigators say 24-year old Brice Harper shot Fredenberg in Harper’s garage. Authorities say the two did have a prior confrontation, and that Daniel’s wife Heather, who was at the scene, admitted to having an affair with Harper. Officials report that before the shooting occurred, Heather reported seeing Dan following her and Harper as they drove, and that Heather told officers she dropped Harper off at his house and told him to close his garage door. Investigators say Harper reported that he went and got his pistol from inside his house and waited in a doorway. According to officials, Heather said she saw Fredenberg walk into the garage yelling.
