Nothing is ever Obama’s idea. He’s not an idea man, he’s a front man, put out that as both a distraction and an organizer, a dual role, so to speak.
My guess is that Hillary came up with this very elaborate plan and presented it to Obama, who jumped on it to use for an October surprise, but he was the one who got surprised. Then he hung on to the blame the movie, theme because he had nothing left. If they had gotten away with it and capitulated to the al Zawahiri peace plan, Hillary would have take the credit and the Clintons would have retired as the most successful and powerful politicians in the world.

You are correct. The dead ambassador is actually the second most important issue in the election, but it is one which Obama will be able to successfully obfuscate. What's more, to get far into that issue will take too much time away from discussing the number one issue: the dead economy. Obama is 100% vulnerable on the economy and after Romney rides that issue into the White House he can straighten out our foreign policy.
That, in a nutshell, is a picture of the 30% of the electorate known as "moderates" or "undecideds".
I have no love for either of the Clintons. However, this blame game from the Obama admin is nothing more than the continuation of passing the buck to someone else when things go wrong. Since Bush is no longer available, why not select Hilary CLinton to take the fall?
As Sec. of State, it does appear that HIlary would have the responsibility for the embassy protections. However, since we already know that the POTUS has not been actually attending weekly intelligence briefings, we cannot really know whether he should have known about the security concerns in Libya. So, I’ll give Hilary the benefit of the doubt on this subject. Obama is so very lazy and inept, I do have a legitimate lack of trust in anything Obama says or does.
