Felix Baumgartner will attempt to jump from stratosphere today

There will be a second attempt today for Felix to jump from a ballon at 120,000 feet and parachute, breaking the record for high altitude jumps. There should be a live feed on the website.

Looks like the ascent has stalled at max float height, approx. 122,000ft. or 37,266 meters

The helium will dissipate and escape to space. Solar wind probably pushes it around.

Where or how is it produced ?

Sudden burst of climb, taking the capsule well over 126,588ft. Venting some He from the ballooooon.

Now over 127,000...holy moley 24miles+
