This should put the fear of GOD into the hearts of all these “ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS”. These RINOS have no fear of the democrats, their biggest fear is the TEA PARTY. They know that with the accendancy of the TEA PARTY in this country, sounds a death knell of the “RINOS” in our body politic. Let every politician be on notice, everything they do in Washington will be carefully watched, and if they think they can make unconstitutional laws, they will be removed from office. This includes the presidency

This gives me a bit of amusement...a poll that confounds both sides! I hope Akin wins so both sides shut the hell up.

I was one of the people who thought Akin made a very stupid statement that very likely could have lost this race for the GOP and thus, should have left the race to a move viable candidate. I thought he flubbed the question — I don’t think he really thinks rape was legitimate but he started talking about something he should have known could only cause damage and was too stupid to know he was in a danger zone and should have shut up. I know there are a lot of posters on this board who are strong Akin supporters but we have to admit what he did was incredibly stupid and damaging.

But I never wanted Akin to lose and I hope this poll is true. Conservatives can play games with polls just like liberals and I think there have been several polls by socially conservative organizations designed to make Akin look viable. But at the end of the day, I clearly would rather have Akin in the Senate than Obama-Care Claire.

I live in the KC TV market and I can’t remember the last time I saw an Akin ad on television. McCaskill is all over the place; both her’s and PACs advertising on her behalf. Akin’s broke. Unless that changes then he’s going to remain the underdog.

Wenzel Strategies is actually a pretty solid research firm.

Maybe we’re seeing more than just anti-Obama sentiment around the country. Perhaps it’s becoming another anti-Democrat election.

I hope that he does win. He said something stupid, but that said, he said it in an effort to try to stand up for the lives of unborn babies who happened to be conceived as a result of rape. They can’t help how they got here. They never asked to be conceived, and they didn’t choose the creeps that are unfortunately their “fathers”.
