and yes, it is much less common in most Arab
countries. but, i suspect that Western sources,
tend to underreport it.

Egypt is Northern Africa which I mentioned. It is very rare in countries like Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan. Kuwait, Saudi etc etc..Northern muslim countries. If it does happen in those countries it is by immigrants from African countries.

I am a weightlifter and lifting is very big in Iran..so i knew some Iranian lifters in college. They did not know a single woman who had it done and they were repulsed by the practice...and I knew guys in college who dates ME women and said they were all in "one piece".
