Secretary of State Hillary Clinton publicly accepting blame for the security failures in Libya the night before a hugely important presidential debate might be nothing more than a fabricated set-up to allow President Obama to dig himself out of a hole.
Think about it: If Obama were to stand up before the American people tonight and thank Hillary for being The Greatest Secretary Of State In The History Of The Americas and then pull her out from under the bus and accept 100% of the responsibility himself, he'd look like some kind of hero.

Romney: I applaud your decision, however, what courage is there in accepting responsibility, when you know that there will be no consequences. Nixon resigned for much less than this. As it stands now, you acceptance of responsibility is just for show, but come November, the voters will show that there will be consequences for your actions, as they make you a one term president.

Obama put an openly gay man in a Muslim country as ambassador, then ignored repeated requests for increased security. When the Libyan 17th Brigade told staff on September 8th that family members had been approached warning them their relatives in the force were in danger, they had 48 hours to get the Ambassador out of the country.
At about 9:40, when it happened, according to live witness testimony before Congress, the TOC hit their imminent danger alarm allowing real time monitoring of events on the ground, including drone footage, apparently, of the attack as it was happening.
He steps up today and admits that US soil was invaded after repeated warnings it would happen, and that a US Ambassador was killed (including four others - including two brave Libyans, by the way), if Romney isn’t prepared to step into that 80 mph fastball down the middle and ask where he was at 3AM when the call came in, then he deserves to lose.
Exactly...Obama needs to explain why he kept lying about the video being the cause (for days)...when he knew it wasn’t true
And Romney would say what took so long? Why did your admin lie and stonewall? if you are to blame then why did you pull down security? what did you know and when did you know it?

I disagree with this premise. President Empty chair will not look like a hero,,,it will be seen as reciprocating CYA and pure politics. The statement should then be,,,,,,who going forward is going to answer the questions about this mess? THAT will be a telling moment. The truth will be seen.
