Crowley was just too quick to agree that Obama said "acts of terror". The trouble is, if Obama believed Benghazi was a terrorist act the next day, why did his administration keep pushing the red herring story about the video. The video should have become totally irrelevant if it was a terrorist attack.

I don't see how this helps Obama other than Candy handed him a gotcha moment for the debate. Overall, it is still a loser for him as it puts more focus on the Benghazi attack. It may have scored points with his base but it doesn't win him any votes he didn't already have.

The biggest deal of the night was regarding Fast and Furious. When Romney started to get out a few facts, Obama said, "Candy!?!" She looked him in the eyes and stopped Romney cold.

It was like she had been warned not to let him go there. The Governor looked stunned and Hussein was grinning like a baboon.

houeto...the whole event was nothing more than a coordinated TANGO between O and Candy. She chose the questions to be asked, and she was instructed in just how to do the steps, by O himself.

No doubt about that in my mind at all now.

Be only just polite enough to Mitt to deflect the obvious bias.

O signed Candy's dance card, every dance, and for once he LED.

Let not your heart be troubled (hannity), what they designed to be EVIL, will have unintended consequences come Monday night when MITT now has all the ammunition to destroy O once and for all. THEY LIED, gulp, almost as good as being under oath, being on TV for all to hear.

I agree with you, austingirl. I mentioned something similar on FR last night: The Obama-Crowley tag team exchanges during the Libya segment appeared to me to be rehearsed. Those were some strange moments during last night's debate...

It also looked like Obama had access to some of the other questions Candy picked out... Maybe Obama was 'off his game' during the first debate because Jim Leaher was so 'old school' he didn't share questions with Obama's team.

Romney has them trapped now: With the ACTS OF TERROR statement. Romney knows it as well, and I think that is why he continued with "I want it on the Record".

Obama has no wiggle room on that one, and HE knows it, he trapped himself, GULP and night sweats.

I think Crowley knew it immediately, that is why she retracted immediately on the spot.
