Since 1976 the GOP candidate, regardless of whether they won or lost the presidential election, had a voting percentage in Ohio at least to the level of the national vote.

You are right, that would be powerful and an excellent way to thread the economy into the argument.

I’m here in CT, and you really have to look hard to see an obama sign out anywhere, other than stickers on the occasional Volvo or Subaru.

Yard signs? It’s predominantly Romney. And if no presidential signs are about, it’s a lot of CT republican State office signs.

Yeah, I do believe that old black magic is GONE.

Carter's main undoing was his abysmal job approval ratings.

It was a HELL of a lot more than just job approval ratings......see if this sound as familiar in today's world as it was back in 1980......

Maybe it was when Carter told the American people that we were in a Malaise, that the next generation will be worse off then their parents for the 1st time, that we will just have to get use to it, or the hostages in Iran for over a year (444 days total) and ....

offering every home a pitiful $300.00 rebate to help pay for:

High gas prices,

High Interest rates,

high food prices, etc....... was what really pushed people to switch.

While I was being told Life Sucks get use to it you have no future.....

Ronald Reagan was out there telling us our best days were ahead not behind us, that we shouldn't settle for less because we are American's and we are a part of the greatest country on this Earth. That people come to our shores to live the American dream, where you can lift yourself up by your own two hands and go as far as your dreams will take you............

Nahhhhh...that wasn't it..... We just wanted to see what a new guys picture would look like in the White House because it was time to re-decorate and why not choose a movie star to class up the place.....< sarc >

God Bless Ronald Reagan he made me believe in America Again......And I'll be damned if I let a Communist Kenyan pretend American take that away from my kids.

Do whatever it take to kick this POS out of our White House and drain the swamp we call Washington DC of his kind.....

“Pollsters starting to position themselves for the accuracy medal instead of the “keep it close so we can get more business” scam.”

Exactly. They've done what they can to help the WON. Now they have to try to save their credability

I am praying too, and I pray also that we remain humble and do not gloat if he is elected, this is a pet peeve of mine, please Romney supporters keep it classy and let’s not act like the angry leftist.

Let’s not sink to their level.

One thing that made me so angry was the racist attacks that we were subjected too, I think a lot of Americans are angry about this, and I think it will play a more important role in this election then we imagine.

Bob Beckle just stated, if these numbers are true, it’s over.

Heh, heh, heh... he knows they’re true.

It’s over.

No president under 50% mid-October has gone on to win re-election.

Adios Obambi. Maybe you could run for president of Syria next. You could earn that Nobel at long last.

Hilarious moment on the Five just now.

Greg Gutfeld ran a video of a guy jumping off the edge of a pool, and hitting solid ice without going through. It looked very painful. Then Gutfeld said, “This is more of a bounce than Obama has gotten from the last debate.”

Mears, you may be proven right. In fact, I think you are right to advocate caution. I still think it’s over.

I don’t believe these polls anymore. Romney should do his own polling and the only one you can really believe is the one on election day.

It sure will be nice to have a First Lady who doesn’t look — and act — like Sasquatch.

(I know that’s not kind, but I’m darn tired of having the mainstream media tell us Moochelle is the “most beautiful since Jackie O.)

Whatever the demon Hussein thugs come up with re Romney, you can bet there’s something much worse in Hussein’s history. Maybe the Clintons can lend a hand to the GOP; they may have some “good stuff” they’re holding on to for emergencies.

Rush said that the only polls we should pay attention to are the candidates’ internal polls.
