NEW YORK –  President Obama and Mitt Romney squeezed a comedy break in between debates last night, drawing laughs at a New York charity dinner that's long been a required stop for anyone trying to capture the White House.

Light-hearted jabs about the deficit, alleged bias in the press, Romney's wealth and Big Bird showed a different side of the two men at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, organized by the Catholic Archdiocese of New York to benefit needy children. The quip-a-thon came just two days after the presidential contenders squared off in a contentious debate a short drive away at Hofstra University.

According to someone who attended last night's dinner, Romney conveyed a more presidential demeanor than Obama

I watched the videos (on YouTube) of both. One thing was immediately apparent. Romney used the word "we" most of the time ...and Obama started almost every sentence with the word "I." For the first 3/4ths of his speech, Obama focused entirely on himself. Although the intent of both was to poke fun at the other, Obama clearly showed that he believes he is the center of the Universe.

Wow! What a beautiful couple ... in all regards. No wonder the left hates the Romneys. Despite all their artificial attempts at glamor, they can’t shine a light to the joyful glow that radiates from Mitt and Anne. If Mitt is elected, Ann Romney would be the first ‘pro-life’ First Lady since Roe. May God continue to guide and protect them and their beautiful family.
