Remember pre-2003 when Minnesotans were considered by the left to be too stupid to handle carrying firearms?

Now the left claim we’re MORE HONEST than any other state! We have no need for voter ID like other states!

I’ve seen the following called voter suppression:

1. Requiring a picture ID

2. Signs warning fraud is illegal

3. Poll watchers.

4. Not letting illegal aliens and felons vote

Isn't Minnestoa the place where they elected AN ACTUAL CLOWN to The Senate?

Minnesota Senator Al Franken

With the computer techonology available today it shouldn’t be hard to keep the voter registration roles purged of felons, deaths, name changes, address changes, etc. The persons name who is involved could be sent to the voter registrar for checking against the registered voter roles and appropriate actions taken if found to be registered. It would take some time to set the system/process up but once done it would help immensely in keeping the roles purged. JMO

How can “I didn’t know” work as an excuse. I would be VERY surprised if they weren’t warned when released or paroled “You are not eligible to vote until this date: _____”

If such warnings aren’t provided, then the Dept of Corrections is VERY stupid.

Their release papers should clearly put it down in writing — “You are eligible to begin voting on ______ . You will be breaking the law if you vote before then and will be subject to arrest and conviction for voter fraud. s/ _____________ . “

How hard is it to do that?

Minnesota lesson for Wisconsin on voter fraud.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

The lesson here is to vote straight Republican down ticket to give Scott Walker the resources to change our voting laws.

1) Expunge registration at the polls.

2) Restore photo voter ID.

3) Replace the GAB.

Photo ID alone will not fix the felon problem, but the amendment does. The eligibility verification requirement means we'll use available databases to prevent felons and other ineligible voters, such as non-citizens, from voting. The felon problem is just the tip of the iceberg, and the Voter ID amendment is designed to address the iceberg itself.
