This is about poll watching and documenting bad things that happen in the polling places in case there are post election lawsuits. I took the class here in FL from the campaign. If you are the sort of FReeper who does not mind a potential hostile situation for several to 16 hours, it is a good volunteer gig and well worth doing.
I just looked at the form. Is it a requirement to have a cell phone?
I don’t have one so I’m not sure if I should waste their time by applying if that’s the case.
I live in a county that voted 62% for McCain in 2008, so hopefully there wouldn’t be hostile situations here.
