Respectfully disagree. Romney’s foreign policy would be to vigilantly protect our national interests. That’s all I ask, that’s what he said. I don’t believe Obama has or will. Further, Romney would be a fool to offer something new two weeks before election day.
What I think doesn’t matter, nor does my vote. I live in a dark blue state.

My recollection is that people were run over by tanks in Tienanmen square. When it was happening, a friend of mine was in tears over the death of some of his Chinese friends there.

When Romney wins, I just hope he doesn’t have Reagan’s luck in 1983 when our embassy in Lebanon was bombed killing 63 in April, then our Marine barracks bombed a few months later killing 241 the same day the French embassy was bombed killing more than 50. The same year a bombing of our embassy in Kuwait only killed 6 thanks to a faulty bomb. A few months later Reagan bowed to voter pressure and pulled our people out of Lebanon. This is not a fun sandbox to play in.

I had to listen to the debate on the radio and stopped after about ten minutes due to the fact I couldn't take Obama's condescending attitude and downright dickish behavior. I really felt for Romney.
NK has taken the two track approach. In fact there is some speculation that at least two attempts we detected early in their process were either tests of the high explosives necessary to effect implosion that went wrong, or failed plutonium weapons tests in and of themselves.
The Iranians are all-in on Uranium. They would simply need to deliver several sub-critical masses of Uranium "by hand" to the target, then drive them together with C4. There are several simple designs. The most difficult calculation is actually how much shielding would you need in order to keep your couriers alive long enough to deliver it, and how many couriers do you need? I'm not an expert but I believe I heard a number of years ago that the exposed plutonium core of a nuclear weapon would kill you in about 60 seconds. Probably the same order of magnitude for fissile uranium. So, you need some amount of lead and lots of martyrs. No shortage.
When they have the refined product, for all practical purposes they have The Bomb.

Obama would have us believe that those aircraft carriers and subs are all we need in today’s Navy. I don’t think most folks buy off on that.
It takes ships to projected globally on the oceans.
Evidently the Navy says it needs about 310 to 320 ships. We have 285 right now.
You know, those lines about the carriers and subs sounded funny. Then when you think about it, is sounds somewhat beneath the president to use those terms to try to put Romney down.
I’m not sure he got ‘good’ mileage out of those lines.
He may have come off looking desperate, and somewhat childish.
