I have been one to get a bit ticked off by Republican candidates holding back, probably a lot more than a bit ticked off too.

Tonight, it almost seemed that Obama was twitching at times. Romney didn’t go for the throat on Libya, and Obama tried to move him to that topic several times.

Some of the conventional thought tonight was that Obama was laying in wait, for Romney to make a mistake on that topic. Then when Obama couldn’t entice him into the trap, probably where Obama’s best material centered on, I think Obama got frustrated.

I tell ya, I think Romney’s tactic may have worked far better than I generally would have thought it would.

I think Mitt saw the polling that shows more people believe O has incorrectly handled Libya, and figured why get into a “ Clintonian” debate where O would
site intelligence failures, and deliver his Axelrod/focus group tested DEM voter response.

To me Mitt was going for the broader “ you failed policy “ picture and I think he
painted that well
