I guess when you’re doomed and going off the fiscal cliff, your only solace is the hope that you will have company.

And this just in: By an overwhelming majority, New York Yankee fans vote to re-elect Bobby Valentine as manager of the Boston Red Sox.

Instead of just typically remarking that the rest of the world does not vote for the US president, I think that this means that these foreign *people* are disrespecting America.

The proper response is for president Romney to reduce aid and cooperation to the *peoples* of these nations concomitant to how much they disrespect us.

Typically, when we are annoyed at some other country, we state that we are annoyed with their government, not their people. But in this case, while we might get along with their government, there is no reason to be generous to a people that clearly disrespect us.

For example, France has long sneered at America and hoped for its demise as a superpower. So let’s see how the French people handle their own problems without our help when their economy self-destructs.

Maybe American mothers *should* go back to telling their children to eat their vegetables, “because there are starving children in France.”

“But why don’t we give our vegetables to France?”

“We used to, but they were so nasty about it that we stopped.”

Irony that the US is comprised of descendants of immigrants from all over the world - who left their home countries to find a better life.

Their preference for BO is a form of jealousy. Like the step-sister who sets you up for a date with an ugly jerk.

Jealous much?

The rest of the world will be eager to follow the anti-Christ when he appears. So...I’m not impressed by their ability to be deceived.

Re: BBC recent poll favoring
Barack Hussein Obama

Dear Beeb or Beebers,

We, the citizens of the United States of America, are delighted to learn of the continuing admiration, nay, adulation of the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C., as cited in the recent survey.

By a felicitous confluence of circumstances we find ourselves in a position to satisfy these international longings for Barack Hussein Obama. The term of his lease will expire January 2013 causing us great concern and distress regarding his future domicile and finding an appropriate arena for one of his stellar talents. Your longings and our concerns satisfied by a single stroke. Oh frabjuous day!

We would joyfully provide transport for BHO and family to any destination in Europe deemed appropriate. Bruxelles, Paris, Madrid, or Athens are all acceptable. Consider Athens as the arrival point as we know of his fondness for classical Greek architecture. Surrounded by real marble columns his earlier disappointment with the paltry styrofoam columns we provided might be assuaged.
The gratifying and overwhelming response of the French indicate that BHO might be most welcome there. Ollande and Obama has a nice alliterative ring don’t you think? Socialism, fraternite, egalite will ring loud and proud in Place Pigalle once more. That liberte business best forgotten, eh?

We so look forward to his send off, anticipating historic crowds tearfully viewing his departure.

Some questions have been raised regarding his travel documents. They seem to have been misplaced. Our media however will vouch for him unanimously. But then you europeans have centuries of dealing former heads of state.

Just one caveat, this is strictly a one way deal, an as is sale, no refunds, and most adamantly no return.

Looking forward to closing the deal,

FreeRepublic

The rest of the world favors Obama?

Great!

They can have him! Perhaps that will “improve our standing in the world”.... at least until he “works his magic” on their economies, policies, etc.

Our only condition is that he is “No Deposit, No Return”.

Caveat Emptor!
