Yep. Setting up to be in full Finger Pointing Mode come Nov. 7.
If the highlight of your campaign was having the perjuring horny-hick-from-Hope give a speech, it doesn't take a medium to predict that is a campaign that will go down in flames.
***The whole miserable lot of these cretins suck***
Would you want any of these as a neighbor: Obama, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Axelrod, Biden, Plouffe, Holder, Beckel, Schultz, Maddow, Matthews, Letterman and all the Hollywood wackos?
I would give my house away and move to a trailer park.
Wasn’t it Clinton who told all the congresscritters that they needed to vote for obamacare to get reelected. So they did, and look what it got them.
The only reason Obama looked half-decent in the last debate was that he was posing as a conservative, trying to argue that his track record was more conservative than Romney’s promises. Liberals can’t win running as liberals. Obama was hoping to get to the right of Romney, but no one bought it.
Ha! Very true!
So right.
LOL, I am literally stuffing my face with popcorn as I read this thread.
This type of nonsense fails to address the deeper problem, that of the RNC having solid candidates. Let's face it, Bush Sr. Only had to ride the Reagan wave into office and he blew it.
The Candidate has to earn to my vote, I'm not going to vote blindly just because of the letter at the end of their name. It's just one reason why we have the number of RINOs we do. We don't demand solid conservatives, and the RNC knows many are too willing to hold their nose to pull the lever. There are sheep in both parties and it doesn't help.
Reagan proved that conservative principles can win elections, we just need more candidates that embrace those principles and that have the ability to speak about them clearly.
......before the rooster crowed, I personally heard the democrats, at their convention, deny HIM three times.......I just wonder how much that had to do with what we are seeing?
It’s not nonsense, the conservative vote got split between two candidates. That’s the fact. The whys and wherefores weren’t in what I said. Yes we could have/ should have better candidates. But doesn’t change the fact that Clinton didn’t get a majority, and if Ross hadn’t run Bush would have won in ‘92 in spite of his flaws. And yes if Bush had been a better candidate Ross wouldn’t have mattered, of course by 92 that decision was 12 years too late.
blah blah blah
Typical overwritten garbage from the NYT.
It’s insulting and yes, I read the entire commentary.
“Now why should we make a hero of Bubba?”
Ugh! We don’t!! Free Republic people have consistently spoken the truth about Bill Clinton and haven’t put him up on that pedestal that he loves to perch on so much. Remember, there’s so much rot about the Clintons that there’s no way to retain it all in your mind without constantly feeling like you need a shower. - My dear aunt can’t seem to tie the Clintons in her mind as having paved the way for the Obama nightmare we’re living in now. Bill Clinton’s negligence also set the stage for 9/11, just as Hillary’s did this 9/11. Bill Clinton only “changed course” two years into his tenure because the American people elected a Republican Congress in a blowout and forced him to. The Clintons are just as much Saul Alinskyites as Obama is; and just as heavily invested in the New World Order as he is. - Chicago thugs or Arkansas thugs, which is better?
Obama’s rigid ideological viewpoint could do him in then. He hates conservatism so much that he believed that painting Romney as a “hard-right conservative” was the worst possible thing that could be said about him. But independents were smart enough to see through it and the attacks helped warm conservatives’ perceptions of Romney because they couldn’t help but sympathize with someone being attacked for being too conservative. Plus this disingenuous line of attack undermined Obama’s credibility on everything else.
Me too. Only a writer for the NY Times could assert that George W. Bush was a “severe conservative”.
Finest moment?
That's like awarding first prize to a child in a 1st grade art contest, and calling it "high art."
