"Not optimal" was not a phrase Obama had thought about in advance...he was responding to a sentence in which Jon Stewart had just used the word "optimal."

We already knew that this administration has no respect for the first amendment and thinks politicizing law enforcement is fine and dandy (see "the Cambridge police acted stupidly" and joining the pressure to go after George Zimmerman). His speech at the UN showed Obama's intolerance of anyone disrepecting his prophet.

The thing about that is that 0bama changed the premise before he used the word optimal. Stewart's premise was "was this the optimal response?" referring to the post-attack response of blaming the 'video.' 0bama changed the premise to the deaths of four Americans.
