For more than a month, the Obama administration has been dodging and weaving over what actually transpired in Benghazi, Libya, on the night of Sept. 11-12....

In 1985, we had no real-time information other than what was provided by the Israelis or the scant information gleaned from the ship-to-shore radio-telephone calls by the terrorists to their chief, Abu Abbas. We had no unmanned aerial vehicles or live coverage. We had no prepositioned forces on the ground — the JSOC unit that captured the hijackers and turned them over to Italian authorities had to be flown to Sicily from the United States.
On Sept. 11, 2012, dozens of U.S. military aircraft were stationed within an hour’s flight time of Benghazi. A U.S. Marine contingent and a U.S. special operations unit were less than two hours away by air, remarkably enough, in Sigonella — the very place the Achille Lauro terrorists were captured. A White House spokesman now claims the O-Team couldn’t commit military force without “diplomatic clearance” from the Libyan government. Good thing that provision of international law doesn’t apply in Pakistan or Yemen.

Thank you for the post. I’ve been waiting for North to weigh in and I only disagree with him on one issue. I don’t want to wait until November 6th to fire Obama. I would like to see an escort show up at the oval office and end it now. I’m near panic attack right now thinking of what everyone went through at the embassy. What was the ambassador doing there anyway? Why won’t people resign? For God’s sake.

From the information available, we can speculate the following:
The Obama Administration was illegally supplying guns to Al Qaedi and other Islamist extremists working to overthrow the Syrian regime. They were doing this from Libya via Turkey.
When things went south in Benghazi, they did not want to authorize military intervention as this would expose their gun running operation.
The demonstration in Cairo provided a convenient cover story and the Administration decided to lie its way out of this mess. Susan Rice and others were paraded out to spread the lie, hoping that the truth would not come out until after the election.
They are now engaged in full bore damage control, relying on their press allies to keep this thing from blowing up in their faces.
Are we not still waiting for the results of the Fast & Furious operation that has been going on for one and half years?
0bama was notified immediately and automatically when the Benghazi consulate triggered the "Critical Incident Report" alert. He did nothing.

Denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. The lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack were fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. The inaction during the attack was something more than that.
The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.
ONE man had the authority to act that night.

I don’t believe this clown will be re-elected. But if he is, I will no longer consider myself an American because I don’t want to know that my fellow citizens are complete and utter morons.
What good does it do to have all the communication and drones and stuff if the guy at the top doesn’t have the guts to use it. If this is true (and I bet it is) Obama is to blame for some silly election plan that went bad. Obama must GO! The truth must come out—and Obama must be placed in the dock for his actions. The least we could do is remove his pension.
