Did *anything* worthy of notice happen at Abu Ghraib?
No, not really. It’s a reasonable allegation that some MPs stepped over the line some in their handling of some prisonersbut did it really matter? No. And it should’ve just been a simple internal matter to deal with, never the maudlin bombshell that the media deliberately warped it into. They stirred such a persistent ruckus about it, that a low-info voter probably thought GW Bush was sitting in the oval office with CCTV live feeds to Abu Ghraib prison cells, watching and directing the events personally.
