I think ONE of the men who died was sent to help. The other two left the CIA annex to help at the Embassy on their own volition, and against orders. There can be NO doubt that security at the Embassy was willfully drawn-down prior to the attack, however. This would be done in advance of a staged hostage-taking of Stevens.
I want to know more about the lasing of an enemy mortar site, though.. If firing upon them was ignored or orders given not to do so.
