Any active duty member of the military who goes public contradicting Baraq can be seriously hazardous to his/her career and perhaps even freedom.

One of the pleasant developments I've seen in recent weeks is that I'm getting the sense that more and more people simply don't give a sh!t one way or another when it comes to obeying orders or even acknowledging the legitimacy of their chain of command.

Look what happened to those two CIA personnel who lost their lives in Benghazi. They violated direct orders to "stand down" and went to help their fellow Americans who were under assault at the U.S. consulate.

You know why those American soldiers were all forced to turn in their weapons when Leon Panetta visited that military base in Afghanistan? It's because this administration knows damn well that an open insurrection in the ranks of the U.S. military is not such an outlandish possibility.
