Could today have been specifically chosen for the Obama campaign to get its MSM lie machine in gear to bolster the sagging morale of the troops?

Rasmussen today has Romney edging into a two point lead in Ohio - the first time in the campaign, IIRC, that Romney has held the advantage there!!!

It might be hard to convince the diehards at AP and the WaPo, but a Romney win in Ohio almost surely means that their rosy predictions for Zero in the electoral college are pure fantasies.

I would not expect Romney to get less than 52% of the Ohio vote, unless there is some extra-legal skullduggery.

My hope is that the Governor will send members of the Ohio Highway Patrol into certain precincts, unannounced, just as a monitoring effort, where the previous elections have shown some questionable totals.

Just curious: Do you have any specific information that leads you to your expectations? If Romney legitimately has a 4 point lead or greater, it would take a cheating scheme on a scale we've never previously seen to overcome it.

My hope is that the Governor will send members of the Ohio Highway Patrol into certain precincts, unannounced, just as a monitoring effort, where the previous elections have shown some questionable totals.

The fact that you folks in Ohio - as well as in Wisconsin and several other battleground states - now have Republican state administrations in contrast to '08 figures to be significant in tamping down the degree of election fraud and cheating from the Democrats this year as compared to 2008.

No specific information--such as an accurate poll! Just following polling reported at Free Republic, gauging the mood--at least in Southern Ohio, coupled with the almost certain mood in the sparsely populated coal country--and among folk who have moved into the Akron area from West Virginia coal counties after World War II, and throwing in the gap between what the small percentage who will pretend to what they believe sounds politically correct, say as opposed to believe; throwing all of the above into the calculation, that 52% is the absolute minimum Romney vote I expect.

It could go a lot higher.

MSN seems confident for Osama.

Dick Morris and people here confident for Romney.

One side or the other is full of it!

I think advantage Romney, knock on wood.

I think you mean MSM, as in "Main Stream Media."

Yes, I noticed that too. There's also a thread here on FR about Pennsylvania by Nate Silver of the New York Slimes with a bunch of graphs and charts which appear to view the 'rats election chances through rose colored glasses.

I did MSM.

Though “MSN” could mean “main stream nincompoops” or “main stream nuthuggers” (nuthugger is a vulgar term, I apologize if it offends you)
