Very early on, before this campaign started in earnest, live or die, I publicly cast my lot with Gallup and Rasmussen. As a poll addict going back to 2000, these are the outlets that have always played it straight. It's got nothing to do with politics and everything to do with credibility and not wanting to kid myself. So when an outlet like Gallup tells me Romney is up seven-points, 52-45%, among those who have already voted, that's very big news.

Either- 1) the majority of whites who voted obama in at the 2008 opportunity suddenly became racists or 2) votes for or against obama are not racially motivated.
I’ll go with 2).

There will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth in the weeks to come.
Good opportunities to purchase the worldly trophy goods of disenchanted liberals despondent and selling out.

But Morning Joe said Romney’s momentum was gone this morning and if Morning Joe says so it has to be true

It looks like Dems are turning their people out in greater numbers than the GOP, but a fair amount of their people are voting for Romney/Ryan once they get their ballot, or get behind the curtain at the polling place.
Now that this news is out, look for a lot of “adult supervision” in those voting booths from here to election day.

This was suppose to be Obama Stronghold Your comment just made me realize something:
You know what will shoot this early voting stuff right through the head?
If it turns out that most of the early voting is done by non-lazy, motivated voters, who turn out to be more conservative than voters who wait to vote on the traditional day.
If the left/Democrats figure out that the early votes tend to supress their turnout by demoralizing their under-motivated (lazy) base, you'll hear screams of outrage, demanding that early voting be halted immediately.

When is Joe gonna come out of the closet and admit he’s in love with Obama?

2. Fur-ur sure. Me thinks even a few (maybe even ALOT! of) black Democrats are going to be checking the ole' Romney box this election.
With numbers like this for Romney there can't help but be a bunch of American's who just happen to be born with dark skin voting R for president this time around.

I never watch him and I know that. So, no need to announce it.

Since we only know how many dems and how many pubbies voted - but NOT who they voted for - and since scuttlebutt across the country has a lot of dems voting for R&R this year - but haven’t heard of any pubbies switching...mightn’t the final count be even greater against o’bozo?

So recent polls show Romney: ahead in the early vote, ahead with women, ahead with men, ahead with Indies by about 15%-20%, and drawing some of the “Reagan Democrats”. He cut a few points off of the Obama black vote. Enthusiasm is way up amongst Republicans.
But we're suppose to believe it's tied nationally?
