With the Presidential election one week away, it’s worth reviewing how Obamacare will impact the residents of key swing states. A new survey of physicians has found that 30 percent of doctors in Florida intend to place new or additional limits on accepting Medicare patients, with 27 percent altogether refusing to accept new Medicare patients, because of Obamacare’s impact on the fees that Medicare pays to providers of health-care services. In addition, Obamacare will deeply cut Medicare Advantage for 1.2 million Florida seniors who are enrolled in the program, and drive up the cost of private health coverage, especially for those who buy insurance on their own.

30 % = 27 % = 57% of Florida Doctors to limit or end use of Federal Taxpayer Dollars to defray their soaring Medical costs.
I think the future of quality US medical care will be offshore.
The best and brightest will set up facilities in the Caribbean (outside the jurisdiction of the fedgov) that will serve the top 5%.
It will be like private jets vs the “human cattle car” of commercial aviation. Or Baraq Obama sending his kids to Sidwell while the peons head to DC schools.
As someone who is disabled and on medicare, I regularly thank my doctors for seeing me because I know they are already being paid substantially less for doing so, when they don’t have to take medicare patients.
When enough disabled and seniors are unable to find a doctor who will take ‘medicare’, they’ll be screaming for the single payer solution in which all doctors will be forced to work for the government and be paid to see anyone/everyone.
Unfortunately, those same doctors will probably get paid less than they already do when taking medicare patients and so they will either find a black market for patients with $$$, or they’ll opt for another line of work.
There will be no middle...have...or....have not.
And the remaining doctors are ones you don’t want to see, who are second and third rate

Our FL dr has said he is moving to cash only if they don’t get rid of Obamacare.
There are a lot of retired lawyers in Florida. They’ve been trying to put doctors out of business their whole working lives. Those retired lawyers should be at the top of the list of the first to be denied Medicare doctors.
Medicare patients are generally very sick and/or old. They usually have multiple medical problems. Often they will require at least 45 minutes blocked out to see them.
How would you like to know that the BEST you can charge is $40?
And don't forget that if you make a minor mistake in coding or billing, that the government will come down on you like a ton of bricks, bankrupting you or sending you to jail.
Not worth that kind of risk for such a tiny "payday".
Better off just to not see medicare patients at all.
This pains me, because there are so many people out there that depend on medicare. Some very good people.
But, you wanted Obama, you get Obama.
Good luck in finding a provider within 50 miles. And good luck if they speak English.
Any attempt to force physicians to accept government patients will backfire. The government would have to resort to police state tactics to force doctors to work against their will. Even if doctors were forced to accept Medicare, a doctor can think of dozens of excuses/reasons not to treat a patient. The relationship between a doctor not motivated to treat a patient and a patient wary of a doctor’s motivation would not be one grounded in trust, and the outcome will be predictably poor.
I honestly don’t think that that government won’t care because less access and fewer doctors accepting government patients is the easiest way to ration and reduce costs. The Dems don’t really care about old white people because they are not a part of their base. This plays right into the Leftist ‘complete lives system’ scheme.
That was their plan the whole time.
To quote the Democrat former governor of the once great state of Colorado, Gov. Lamb : “Old people have a duty to die!” Of course he was talking about the problems with social security solvency, but the same principle applies!
The death panels so famously named by Sarah Palin will see to it that care is rationed...it won’t be pretty.

The place to get this message out is PENNSYLVANIA, which in addition to being attacked as a coal producer, is TIED with FL as the 5th oldest state. Oh, and by the way, what state ranks just below FL and PA in median age? New Hampshire.
