Danny Thomas was probably the very best-known.

There is an area near where I live in Pittsburgh that has a lot of Maronite Christians from Syria and Lebanon (their church is here). Lately you see a few Muslims trickling in too. Probably because it is close to Middle Eastern grocers, etc.
