I'm working and will continue to work in VA for Romney and Allen too.

Our household has four adults - two of whom have voted absentee for Romney and Allen. The other two of us will tomorrow for Romney and Allen between working the polls. I agree with you, the Commonwealth of Virginia will be more RED than people think.

We're in the land of Gooch. Where are you located?

I worked for McCain, and I knew he was in trouble because it seemed like every 5th respondent (out of Republican phone numbers) was dead-set on voting for Obama. What are you seeing?

One good piece of news out of NOVA. I used to live in a heavily "diverse" apartment complex. In 2008, at least one out of four windows had an Obama sign. Bumper stickers were everywhere, as well as yard signs in car windows. The maintenance people even put up those huge Obama banners above their office. Walking around, I had many people (they had no idea I am Republican) wanting to talk politics and were beside themselves with excitement. Traveling to other, similarly diverse complexes, revealed the same thing (not to mention the generally middle class neighborhoods, where Obama signs were *everywhere*.

This year -- nothing. That same complex had a grand total of one bumper sticker. I did a bit of driving to other areas that I could compare with 2008 -- same thing. These were the "new voters" that Obama pulled in 2008, and probably gave him Virginia. In living there for 14 years (off and on), I only once heard anything political, and that was in 2008. I would be very surprised if they show up to vote tomorrow.
