I was trying to say that the National Guard has always been local men who are happy to help their neighbors and friends because they live there, too.

They are not strangers with guns like Bloomberg seems to believe.

It's all so crazy. Just like the water problem. Why would FEMA be responsible for water - that should be a city/county/state issue. It's too basic to hand over to FEMA outsiders who don't even understand local issues.
