Hollywood, FL temps today were what, about 75-80° ?

Well, it was about 40° outside in Morristown tonight with a good stiff breeze and those 40K people stood out there in it for hours !

Dhimmis are puss kitties   ;-)

If it ever comes to CWII it's a pretty good bet who'll win this time.

If he holds true to everything he’s said, I’ll be very happy and proud of him.

Me too, I just hope there's something going good to come out of this for Gov. Palin.

Just heard Carl Cameron say this rally had 28,000 people!

For the record, one DUmmy thread says Obama had in "Hollywood, Florida 23,000" in attendance.

Still winning. Heh.

CNN cut away from the speech right at the finale, went to commercial and missed the impassioned plea for votes, the raucous response and the fireworks.

Obama’s panty-boy Don Lemon anchoring the coverage, so no surprise.

Red Hampshire media slobbering over Clinton and Zero drawing 14,000 people in the ‘Free State’ (LOL) today. Keep in mind this was the state capitol (SEIU/government workers headquarters) and there are millions to draw from within a 90-minute drive...most of them in Assachusetts.

One thing I’d like to point out about comparing Romney’s PA rally to Obama’s FL rally:

Obama went to Broward county - population 1.7 million, voted for Obama 67% in 2008. He drew 23,000 people.

Romney went to Bucks County - population 625,000 (almost 1/3 Broward), and Obama won this county in 2008 by 53%. Romney drew over 30,000.

Think about that. Romney draws 5,000 to 7,000 more people at a rally in a MUCH smaller county that Republicans didnt even win in 2008, while Obama was in a huge, very pro-Democrat county and still draws less people. I’m surprised Obama didn’t get more!

" Me too, I just hope there's something going good to come out of this for Gov. Palin. "

Secretary of the Interior ? since she had to manage a huge state like Alaska.

This is where the shuttle buses from the parking lot dropped off crowds. We waited there about 45 minutes or more to get up to the security entrance. You could tell these weren’t Democrats—the crowd was very orderly, polite, friendly. We got to the canopies after about an hour where tickets were checked and water bottles deposited. Then we went thru the scanning “door frames” onto the spacious field. There was no pushing, no shoving. People started lining up behind the security fence—we were way back, can’t even guess how many people deep from the fence. We were opposite the big screen. It was quite cold and windy and while we all had to stand, the crowd pretty much blocked the wind below our shoulders. People sitting down on the bleachers were probably freezing from the wind blowing thru. Three Orthodox Jews stood next to us with long curls in front of their ears and yarmulkes(?) but didn’t appear to be cold. They listened very intently to every word. Before Romney appeared, someone fainted down in front of the stage. Gov. Corbett stood there silently while the rescue squad was caring for the person. I’m anxious to see the crowd count; each ticket was scanned “for counting purposes”. The crowd was very, very excited—there definitely was electricity in the air.

There was a neat fireworks display at the end—very appropriate. Then most of the people who had parked at Holy Family college—those eastbound on Newtown/Yardley Road—traipsed a good distance aross the plowed up corn rows. This was rough walking over the grassy ruts. Fortunately the fields were lighted by giant spotlights. We had to wait at least 45 minutes to move from our parking space, but it was well worth it! Despite many, many toddlers there we did not hear one fussy child! And in those weather conditions they had every right to be.

At the end there were wonderful fireworks with a bright display of red, white and blue at the finale. All the volunteers who planned and carried out this incredible rally did an absolutely amazing job. It was just phenomenal!

Thank you for that great report. I think the people at that rally are real broken glass Romney voters!
