even if a reasonable person could say he only was trying to get help for his state, and even if you could say he was elected to help his state not the us, then, he just got unlucky, because he definately looks like a hothead who coud turn on his party and cant be trusted.

What's done is done. I wasn't pleased about it... but at the same time, it's important to not let the media play us for fools with this "Obama is surging with independents because of Sandy" nonsense. If the country is really to the point where people will overlook four disastrous years, and vote for a president mostly because he visited a state for an hour and shook somebody's hand... then the country is lost. But I highly doubt that.
Besides, the Sandy situation is slowly turning into another debacle...
Who are these people swayed by Christies remarks?
I’d encourage everyone to hop on a plane to NJ and see how the people here actually feel about the situation.
Maybe hang around a while and do something useful .
