They've displayed the body language of defeat for months. Their blind, fawning followers can't see it, but we see it. Obama's handlers tell him he's doing fine, but under it all, whether he admits it or not he doesn't believe them.

“The demographics are changing....and not in favor of the GOP I’m afraid.”

People get more conservative as they get older. Last time I checked, the whole aging thing is still happening...I won’t deny there are other demographics at play (Hispanics), and we’d best broaden our racial demographics further than we’ve done. But we’re starting to do that, and fielding excellent candidates. What if down the road we field the first Hispanic candidate for POTUS. There are things we can do about this.

Also, this is about educating all of our kids about the values that make America dear. If we fail there, we will fail in the future.

Finally, don’t underestimate the crowd psychology that the obamunist and the corrupt media played to full tilt since Bammy’s ‘uniter’ drivel in 2004 (how untrue was that??!) They gave Obama easily 10 to 15 points, and billions of free ads...that may never happen again.

I’m more upbeat about our future perhaps than you...

“also they seem to assume all those early dem votes are for Obama”

A LOT of huge assumptions by the rat pollsters media, and therefore by Nate Silverman...love the egg on Silverman’s face in that link above: http://www.natesilverwaswrong.com/

Or Obama knows he has it locked up in OH and Romney’s desperate for a last minute push. Not always the rose colored view is right.

Everytime I get to feeling optimistic, I think to myself "I wonder what paul544 would say about this", and then I'm ready to shoot myself.

Thanks.

“The fact is, Titter I now the fastest transmission of info”

And I guess you’ve proven your point LS! (”Titter I now...!!”) Sorry, as I chuckle at your expense, and knowing that I’ve posted a few things on this board that I cannot edit later (even for typos...)

Funny enough, that seems to be a concern with Twitter also. Once you tweet something out, it’s out there, even if you want it back...

Reading Silver’s tweets at the link, it’s clear that he was taken aback by the data, then spent the rest of the night reassuring himself that it doesn’t mean anything. He’s stuck his neck way out, especially with his prediction of a 3-4 point Obama win in Ohio, so if he’s wrong there’s a ton of egg on his face. Thus he’s in rationalizing mode, if you’re out on a limb better hope for the best.

Remember all those people that were waiting in line at Chick-Fil-A? Today they’re waiting in line to vote.

The demographics are changing....and not in favor of the GOP I’m afraid.

What exactly has the GOP done to combat illegals? Reagan granted amnesty. Bush 41 and 43 did nothing. What is Romney going to do should he win?

Big business loves cheap labor and the GOP is the party of big business. As long as they bribe the GOP in the form of campaign donations, nothing will change.

Are you even reading this thread? The Twitter exchanges therein? The "rose colored view" is blinding the Democrats, not us.

That is a great point.|

Romney has largely reconstructed the Reagan coalition, but it will only earn 50% give or take three points of the vote this time.

Until working-class Hispanics wake up and realize the GOP is their natural home, it is going to get increasingly tough for us to win Presidential elections.

I have full confidence this will happen eventually. I have far less confidence it will happen during my lifetime.

Remember Hamilton and Cuyoga (sp?) counties do have dirty Dems and will hold back votes until they “see what they need”. Also, welfare recipients don’t get up early!

I still say Ohio goes Romney, however, but if I’m an Ohio district I hold my tallies until the lazy Dems have turned theirs in...who will blink first?

“I’m shocked the media, which usually picks up body language (remember G.H.W. Bush looking at his watch?), had no mention of it other than to say that the Obamas were emotional because it was their last political appearance.”

“the media”

That’s where you’re off on this. It’s actually the Rat party’s corrupted media (in disguise as an objective professional media.) As such, this is no real surprise.

“The demographics are changing....and not in favor of the GOP I’m afraid. “

A very significant issue to remember and to address. Even after we win today!
I heard numbers/data on Hispanic voters awhile ago; and how they currently vote. It was not favorable to our side; and a fast growing demographic

I think this is why the R party mucky mucks are very careful on the immigration issue. Very easy for us to turn voters away from us if we are not careful.

We need to keep working on espousing how conservative values are always the best way to make everyone successful and free.

“The slimey John Heilman was just on Morning Joe saying the same thing about the Romneys in Ohio. Said they must have seen their internals.”

What?! With that victory lap they’ve taken? And doesn’t he understand that Ann Romney has a disease that saps her energy. What a small, uncaring man...idiot.

Also, at what point do lies really start to become so obvious that they just have to shutup?!
