Piedmont Boy, 3, Gets $2,500 Ticket For Urinating In His Front Yard

PIEDMONT, Oklahoma - A three year old gets his mom in trouble with the law when he gets a ticket from police. Now the little boy's mother will have to pay thousands of dollars for what the toddler did in their own front yard.

The toddler is being potty trained, and he wasn't near the facilities, so he unzipped.

We are told before he could pee, a Piedmont police officer stopped him. It's a bathroom break that cost mom $2,500.

We all know the saying, boys will be boys. Dillan decided to be a big boy, stop what he was doing, so he wouldn't wet his pull-up.

"Dillan pulled down his pants to pee outside, I guess and the cop pulled up and asked for my license and told me he was going to give me a ticket for public urination," said the boy's mother, Ashley Warden.

You gonna tell me this cop didn’t have a designated “pee tree” in his neighborhood when he grew up? We had several of them. Let the kids “commune with nature,” it’s the “yard poopers” you gotta watch out for. Every neighborhood has one. Ours was Mark White.

Another Barney Fife with a badge and a personality disorder. Good grief. He should be fired for shaming a little kid who thought he was doing the right thing.

I sent a few emails to the city officials in Piedmont. Told them they are about to become a national laughingstock.

Just got a response from one councilman:

Wait'll you tell him how much he owes to the National Debt

That'll be a major, eruptive, no. 2 event, fer sure.

Democrats do not understand math. Didn’t Biden recently make claims of $500 trillion dollars in tax cuts? Didn’t Pelosi make claims of $500 million Americans going out of work every month?

The National Debt means nothing to them. It’s like telling a 3 year old you are 40 years old and Grandpa is 72.

Is the boy going to now have his name on the sex offender registry?

When you gotta to go, you gotta to go.

I guess the cop was behind his ticket quota.

Why was the cop peeping at a little boy, who was in his own yard?

Pervert cop needs investigation.

This is a small town (population 3,650 as of the 2000 census). The cop may have other issues with the boy’s family, and this is just harassment.

I thought Shakespeare had already covered this.

“To Pee or NOT to Pee: that is the question. Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer”.

Of course the REAL downside of potty training is one will never really experience that real warm and fuzzy feeling again.

This mental midget Barney Fife should have to apologize in public and let the 3 year old pee on his leg, then get fired.

I’m pretty sure you have to be at least 10 to do that here in Maryland.

Again you should be ashame of what you post here and YOU are part of the problem. This “officer” has imposed great costs on this family.

They have to come to court maybe taking time off from work. They have must suffer public embarrassment. Their child is possibly scarred for life. Their time, preferences and future HAS VALUE.

So rather than one GOVERNMENT functionary quietly talking to another GOVERNMENT functionary in the hall, this officer should be called out in open court. He should suffer some of the public humilation he has tried to impose on this family. And of course you are not supposed to be a GOVERNMENT functionary, the court is suppose to be a neutral abiter between the government and the citizen. So once again you have shown you are unfit to be a judge and should resign.

Embarrassing people in public, whether they are police, witnesses or defendants, is virtually never appropriate or helpful. I don’t deal in feelings while on the bench, I deal in law. We are a nation of laws, not of men. My job is not to make the mom feel better or the cop feel worse, it is to apply the facts to the law and do justice. It’s very easy for people who don’t have that burden to cast stones. As my mom always says, what you think of me is none of my business. Have a good week.
