People vote for People Who Are Like ThemTM. Not everyone, of course, but most. Everyone wants either (a) "special recognition" of their uniqueness, (b) "respect", i.e. having their asses kissed (not doing so is "dissing" them), (c) more of their race until they achieve supremacy over all others, or (d) someone who believes *exactly* as they do.
I maintain that it's one of the baser, yet immutable, parts of human nature. The difference between us and the Rat elitists (especially the MSM) is that they have no problem appealing to it.
There are some disturbing logical conclusions to draw from all this on what we face and how we might survive. I can't say this surprises me, though; history is replete with cycles of barbarism.

“history is replete with cycles of barbarism.”
Right. And history is also teeming with examples of bureau—crap-acies that mire them and eat away at the foundation to complete destruction. The Ming Dynasty. Manchu Dynasty. Rome. The Byazntine Empire. The Sumerians too. I’m sure there are more. I would hazard to guess — ancient Egypt as well.
