If you are Mormon, answer the question anyway, please.
Btw, per CNN's exit polls, Catholics voted for Obama 50-48%...vs. white Evangelicals, who voted Romney 78-21%
So, given that the Jewish vote (69-30%), the Black Protestant vote, the liberal mainline Protestant vote, and the Catholic vote all collectively combined to elect Obama...why is the only religious segment to support the GoP (besides Lds) tossed under the bus in this thread -- to begin with???
(I guess when you have a moniker of "ignorant" in your screenname, in some cases 'tis a confessional!)
Since denominational affiliation does not dictate whether one is really a Christian or not, it's a meaningless question.
There are Christians and non-Christians in every denomination.
Being a Catholic does not by default mean being a Christian. Neither does being a Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, or whatever flavor of religion you choose.
The only thing that varies from denomination to denomination is the percentages of Christians in each one. Some are more likely to have more because they teach the truth, than others.
yes
If I wuz a MORMON; I would NOT disagree with ANYTHING our leaders have said.
To do so would bring the Spirit of Apostacy to my door and THAT would not be good.
So let me post what a MORMON leader has said about CATHOLICS, etal:
"Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the 'whore of Babylon' whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. Any person who shall be so corrupt as to receive a holy ordinance of the Gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent"(The Seer, p. 255 Orson Pratt )
Then I must be doing SOMETHING right!!
