REMEMBER THIS DAY:
When the power goes off, not because of a storm, but due to lack of electric generating capacity because the EPA shut down all the coal-fired power plants
When a older loved one is denied a life-saving medical procedure because a Washington bureaucrat decided that treating him/her isn't cost-effective
When terrorist attacks on the homeland become a regular occurrence, because our enemies rightly perceive us as weak
When young men continue to come home from Afghanistan in body bags, killed by the Taliban forces that our leaders don't consider to be our enemies
When we start pushing around wheelbarrows full of worthless dollars to buy a loaf of bread
Go on, enjoy your moment now. Gloat all you want, but remember this: when the Chinese call in their loans, and economy collapses from an unsustainable level of debt, then CIVIL WAR II will be in the offing. That's something you WON'T be able to sit out ... you'll need to choose a side.

We will be exceptionally fortunate if he goes away after eight. If there is even a whiff in the air that he and his party could get away with ignoring the 22nd Amendment, have no doubt that they will.
My corollary to the consequences of the socialist electorate is a bit different. When the SHTF, the socialist will not remember this day because, in his mind, the catastrophe will be at the feet of the evil conservatives and rich guys.
