i know we are trying to compare last elections turnout to this one but we can’t forget that alot of our base died from old age in the last four years...and four years from now alot more will go....we have to connect with the up and coming youth or we will continue losing voters every year.
I know that Catholics like to call themselves Christians, but I have to question their Christianity when they vote for someone whose stances are the opposite of what their church teaches. Sorry, to any Catholics on here who voted for Romney, but the numbers who didn’t vote for him tell the story. The same with evangelical Christians who voted for Obama - Its quite apparent they don’t know their Bible or if they do - they chose their 30 pieces of silver over the morals clearly laid down in the Word. Judases!!!
Is there really any point in analyzing exit polls that have again been proven to be so wildly wrong?
One issue I can think of off the top of my head is that exit polling is conducted in the cities and aren’t as representative of America as some would like to believe. I guarantee they never conducted an exit poll in a town of under 30 o 40 thousand. Meanwhile there are thousands of town with a few hundred people.
I live in a town of around 150 people and this township had some of the highest turnout in the state at just over 70% and we went for Romney by a wide margin. The township has about 2000 total people and is almost entirely evangelical leaning.
Thanks SF
Maroon...read up and educate theyself
**Catholic turnout was down two points this time, however.**
This needs to be scrutinized according to the increase in population.
More Catholics voted for Romney than voted for McCain.
Catholics will keep working with the Hispanics -- but think about these numbers!
8 out of 10 white Protestants voted for Romney...95% of black Protestants voted for Obama...
6 out of 10 White Catholics voted for Romney...75% of Mexican Catholics voted for Obama...
