Amen to that... get out of his way and make him — and the American electorate — own everything.

And every day... remind them... THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED, REMEMBER???

In so doing, they will inoculate themselves against any ensuing liability as well as avoid becoming the object of Obama's notorious blame game.

Wrong. As long as the MSM remains in its current form (which has been unaltered in the past four years, btw), the Republicans and conservatives will be blamed for the failures of the Democratic White House and Senate.

The truth only matters if the MSM reports it.

If the Republicans do anything at all to stand in Obama’s way, they will get the blame for the mess that is surely going to ensue. It will be said that everything would have been wonderful if the GOP hadn’t obstructed to protect their zillionaire buddies.

If Boehner believes that this is truly Barack Obama's "moment," why not just let the President do whatever he wants?

In terms of real opposition to Obama's disastrous fiscal policy, that's exactly what he's been doing. Hasn't really worked out too well.

I'll add to that. Go Galt and do as little business as possible with any sector or person who supports Obama. Stop being a serf pulling the overburdened wagon full of looters. If it all collapses, so be it. Don't be exploited by the Marxist.

And the voters will get what they want. The producers will be punished for achievement (voting is the best revenge) and the number of people being able to sit back and have every one of their needs and wants satisfied by uncle Barack will be increased by tens of millions in time for the next election.

I don't think it's going to be just that simple. The media controls the narrative and even if they have video of every Republican in the House sitting in an Adirondack chair in the Bahamas sipping Mai Tais and smoking Cuban cigars, they'd manage to blame them for any problems that arise.

Make no mistake, folks, this election proved to the Liberals that their little experiment in tilting further to the Left not only worked but was embraced. Now that they see how cowed and woefully ignorant are the public, they're going to push that accelerator through the floor to put us over the precipice into a communist dictatorship. The people want it, apparently.

“...John Boehner crawled out of the tanning bed long enough to publicly assure the President...”

soooo hilarious!

I never saw so much boot licking in my life as John Boner on Wed!

Eff him.

One could be reminded of that scene from Blazing Saddles

Picture obama confronting Boehner and the GOP, holding a gun to his own head and demanding: “Pass my tax hikes or the ...... gets it”

uh, OK

If the GOP allows tax hikes on the (rich) small business owners only, you’ll never never never get them reduced again.

It’s got to go up on everyone if there’s ever hope for bringing them down again.

Just like gun control laws, when Republicans step out of the way, the liberals blame the states for lax regulations.

Liberals will not be happy untl they have 100% control over every level of gov’t, industry and society.

Boehner makes George McClellan look decisive by comparison.

Time to get a new general.

Don't kid yourself: they most certainly WILL find a way to pin it on Republicans. How many times did they cite 'the failed policies of the past', without ever once stating exactly which GOP policy was a failure? And don't think for a minute that the 'Blame Bush' strategy is going away, or that the DBM won't continue to circle the wagons for their messiah.

This is going to be a LONG 4 years.

I’ve been telling my friends and family the same thing.

Mitt Romney should call a press conference (since that will draw the biggest audience) and announce on live TV that the GOP has decided to step aside and allow the Democrats to implement any policy they choose “in the spirit of bipartisanship”.

Make sure the Dems embrace this happy news and watch as things spiral out of control quickly.

The GOP should offer NO ideas and contributions. Just vote “present”.

After all, that is all the current guy had to do to be POTUS for 8 years!
