I can’t get inside the general’s mind but what is the purpose of so openly confessing to an extramarital affair unless it was being held over his head to extort him? He could have been blackmailed by his girlfriend or by the White House. Chicago could have private investigators tracking everybody in D.C.

Exactly. Why would he even be so open about the reason? Seems very FNG strange unless this is being used as a diversion for something else.

I haven’t trusted this guy since the big Media gushed over him 7 or 8 years ago. He’s cut from the very same “modern hand-wringing progressive” American military general cloth as Wesley and Colin. These guys are NOT keeping a strong nation as priority. Career and kissing liberal ass come first.
