That doesn't surprise me.
I think there were two plans as regards Benghazi and the election. One was to keep it quiet on the campaign trail, have Romney win, then send all the dolts of the benghazi fiasco on their way.
Plan B, the plan in effect now, was for Petraeus to resign and for the truth about Benghazi to come forth.
Fox reports now that Petraeus will NOT testify before the Senate. I suspect that Petraeus will spend a lot of time confabbing with senators off the record.
This idea is dangerous. Unless they have Obama on tape negotiating with the Muslim Brotherhood (which I suspect they have, perhaps Valerie the Iranian) it will look like a petty Republican vendetta to unseat a lawfully elected president. However, if there's damning goods out there on this Obama administration this could be the start of something big.
