General David Petraeuss Rules for Living
Lessons on leadership from General David Petraeus.
by Paula Broadwell | November 5, 2012 1:00 AM EST
1. Lead by example from the front of the formation. Take your performance personallyif you are proud to be average, so too will be your troops.
2. A leader must provide a visionclear and achievable big ideas combined in a strategic conceptand communicate those ideas throughout the entire organization and to all other stakeholders.

think with the big head not the little dumb one
Could you imagine generals of the past, Jackson (both), Grant, Lee, Patton wasting their time on this Tony Robbins BS. Would Napoleon Bonaparte or Frederick the Great dictate this pablum. They were interested in the art of war, killing as many of the enemy on the field of battle and crushing them into the ground. Alexander the Great would break out in loud guffaws if he saw this crap.
13. Sex under a desk really is not optimal.
Laughable really, isn’t it? Something only Tina Brown rags would appreciate, and at a comfy second grade reading level for the hood.
It’s rather telling. No mention of God.
General David Petraeus is a whore.... i.e. security risk..
13 - Make sure she’s young and has huge knockers
And prepare for kinetic military action.
14. Blame people exercising their Freedom of Speech rights for getting your troops killed, instead of the restraining Rules of Engagement imposed by the Commander in Chief.
No he wasn't. Grant was a heavy drinker when assigned to boring garrison duty out west before the war, but he never drank when commanding troops during the war. He did suffer horrendessly from migraine headaches, and spent a lot of time alone in his tent so nobody would see. The press which followed the army, and his rivals in the army used that to spread the lie that he was a drunk.
Special Operations Speaks (SOS) needs a favor from you and everyone you can reach out and touch.
Next week three of us from SOS are heading for an important Press Conference on Thursday the 15th in Washington DC ref our latest SOS petition drive to get an independent Congressional investigation of the Benghazi crimes and cover-ups. We need you to send as many people as you can to our website to sign that petition ASAP.

Just have your contacts go to the SOS website at http://www.specialoperationsspeaks.com/ and look under the tab Petitions and Actions- Investigate Benghazigate.
Everyone in SOS should sign this petition if they have not already done so. Then begin networking to get everyone (friends, neighbors, professional like-minded patriots, etc) you can to do the same. It will only take a few a few minutes of your time.
Joe Stringham, Larry Bailey and I will represent SOS in DC at the Press Conference to be held at 2PM on the 15th next week and we will be presenting our signed petition to as many members of Congress as we have in attendance. This is an important event for SOS on the same day the closed Congressional hearings will be held (on the same subject) in Washington.
Please the more signatures the better help spread the word about signing our SOS Benghazigate petition! SOS is still on the attack.

Rule 13: Get a BROAD, WELL, get more than one, after all you are a General!
I stand corrected, but I do hope you got the main point.
Don’t endorse the behavior, but spare the indignation. It wasn’t eunuchoidism that kept us free.
Rule number 18. Do not rat out the POTUS or he will have you killed.
I couldn’t actually read the whole list. When I click on the link the page locks up my browser. So I’m not sure what #10 was. I just had to respond though because Grant is one of my personal heros, who was slandered remorselessly during the war and often doesn’t get enough credit for his military genius.
“The press which followed the army, and his rivals in the army used that to spread the lie that he was a drunk.”
Supposedly, when Grant was proposed for Command of the Union Army this very thing came up about Grants drinking, to which Lincoln is said to have replied: “Find out what kind of whiskey he drinks, and give some to the rest of my generals”
