"I don’t think the U S has four years left."

There is a pretty real chance of that. The current debt and entitlement levels and trends put us at risk of economic collapse. If we lose control of interest rates, the debt payments will crush the country. Also, Obama's energy plans are going to cause extreme price increases across the board and shortages. This is a recipe for chaos.

You may be right. If the Bipartisan Oligarchy has really, deliberately disenfranchised THE TAXPAYING portion of the electorate....there really is no obligation to continue to pay taxes as our claim to representation has been revoked.

“Direct” disenfranchisement refers to actions that explicitly prevent people from voting or having their votes counted, as opposed to “indirect” techniques, which attempt to prevent people’s votes from having an impact on political outcomes (e.g., gerrymandering, ballot box stuffing, stripping elected officials of their powers).

The issue of taxation without recourse to representation is of course the basis of the Revolutionary War.
