Ever hear of a do-not-match letter? Sent to an employer of an employee, whose SSN comes back to somebody totally not him?

What Romney was saying was, if we were just to enforce the laws already on the books, the illegals wouldn't be able to find work and would go home voluntarily. Thus, "self-deportation".
