The fix is in. We have been sold out by the New World Order one world government group for many years.

Pray to God and apologize to your children.

I am in Alabama and don’t know anyone who liked Gore or Kerry when they ran. I do see the occasional Ron Paul sign.

I don’t talk to anyone who voted because of party or race (except for blacks) but most everyone I talk to see Democrat ideas & policies as dangerous for the country- most I talk to are for lower taxes, less intrusive government etc. They have specific likes and dislikes in other words - not some vague party gripe.

I voted for Carter once - I am from Georgia and was voting “state” more than his politics. It was my first vote and had no idea what he stood for. I was probably 18 or 19 and proud to have a Georgian up there. Next election I voted Reagan. (that pride didn’t last long)

I voted for Perot. All a 3rd party did was split the “right” or Republican vote - hard learned lesson.

I don’t know what the solution is but maybe start looking for candidates who don’t compromise on policy but act like fiscal conservatives BEFORE they decide to run for Prez

If appealing to Euro-Americans in the South is a successful strategy for Republicans, why can’t that same tactic work elsewhere?

Because the number of Euro-Americans is shrinking as the number of Asians, Hispanics, and such increase.

Euro-Americans are now 72% of the electorate. In Reagan's time, it was in the 80%+ range. By 2016, Euro-Americans will barely be 70% of the electorate IF THAT.

Face facts, Euro-Americans are being immigrated into minority status and you have to adjust to this new reality yesterday.

70% is still a large majority, nearly three to one.

It will be far, far easier for Republicans and conservatives to lure greater numbers of Euro-Americans to their side, than it would be to try to convince more Hispanics and Asians to “vote our way” (blacks are a lost cause, they will NEVER vote for Republicans in more than token numbers).

If we could increase our share of “the Euro vote” from 59% to 68%, that would be enough to win solidly for at least a few more decades to come.

There really aren’t any other workable alternatives, unless you want to transmogrify the party into something it is not now, and can never be. Or can be, but won’t survive with long...

That may work for a couple of years, but no longer than that. 50% of the babies born in the US are non-Caucasian.

Ponder that for a moment. 50%.

Your plan works for a little while. Then it fails completely. You have to have a comprehensive outreach program that involves just asking people for their vote. In the Black Community, no Republican has gone there for decades to just ask them for their vote.

Reality has to be faced sooner or later. We should do it sooner than later.

Its like energy independence. "Yes, I'll take the lot. All of the above."

But it starts with just going out and talking to people.
